inez is free spirited. never at one place for too long, always chasing after something new and exciting. she often finds herself in trouble because of it, constantly being dragged into things she'd never do on her own. she is vocal, loud, and confident. she's the type of person you'd wish would stop talking, but you'll find yourself wanting to keep engaging. yapper,
is the best word to describe her.inez is honest, never found the purpose in lying (unless it's in a joking way). she'll admit to anything, talk about anything, and doesn't
believe in tmi. often times she can speak bluntly, but adds in that bit of sweetness. she matches energy. how you interact with her is how she will interact with you. if you're loud, she's loud. if you're quiet, she's quiet.she's sweet, but has that evil side of her. her attitude can be intense or over dramatic. inez is often described as intimidating. she's outgoing, crazy, and loves to run her mouth. despite the person she often presents herself as, she's a loving goofball who is constantly chasing the fun.

inez entered the foster care system as an infant, the consistent cycle of moving from place to place continuing until the age of fifteen when she ran away. her recollection of her formative years is practically nonexistent; bits and pieces being the extent of her memory. inez's birthplace is unknown; unlisted from any paperwork involving her or the true history of her biological family.by the age of sixteen, she found herself residing in westerly, rhode island, hiding in abandoned buildings and seeking shelter in any area possible. desperate and yearning for stability, inez managed to fake documentation needed to enroll herself into high school where she met her [deceased] best friend, hana.her relationship with hana was often described as codependent and obsessive; her friendship being the only connection that ever mattered. hana provided inez with a sense of family, genuine love, and fulfilled the expectations she dreamt of during her childhood. hana, in inez's mind, was the most important person in her life.a year later, at the age of seventeen, inez confided in her best friend, telling her the truth about her home life; or lack there of. hana's parents immediately made space for her in their home, welcoming her into their small family and unofficially adopting her. that blissful life exploded two weeks before her nineteenth birthday; the day hana died in a car accident with Inez behind the wheel during a trip to ny.two months after hana's death, inez began to hallucinate. from an outside perspective, she was constantly talking to herself. yet in her mind, her best friend was there, talking and hanging out with her. inez knew her reality; knew that hana was simply a ghost haunting her mind. she never cared. she welcomed the hallucination and avoided anything that would help her 'heal' out of fear of losing hana completely.during the peak of her grief, inez found herself relying on alcohol and drug use to numb the immense void in her chest. addiction easily becoming another consuming demon. inez was frequently arrested in this period of time; her record consisting of stalking, public intoxication, damage to public and private property, and [legally considered] arson.[storyline gap for writing purposes]present day inez still struggles with insane binges, but considers herself [mostly] sober. her dependency on drugs and alcohol has withered after creating stable, supportive relationships. she still occasionally drinks during social gatherings, but understands when she has reached her limit.
her mental heath has improved, but the guilt over hana's death still looms over her. with the refusal to forgive herself and find closure, the hallucination of her friend still appears regularly; her haunted mind becoming her now biggest secret.
